Which PrivateMed solution is best for me?

PrivateMed provides four types of, “Care Packages” for individuals (two levels), family/household and organizations/corporations for both Executives and employees. Choosing the right care package begins with an orientation and a questionnaire. Once you have decided on the right care package, your Healthy Journey begins with your Healthy Start visit, a comprehensive history and physical to set the baseline that our team uses to develop your Annual Wellness Plan.

Schedule your physician interview, history and physical

Your enrollment questionnaire helps us plan for this visit and what we need to plan for. When you schedule, we will be able to tell you about how much time to set aside, depending on any diagnostic testing (labs, radiology, specialist consultation) we need to accomplish. .

While our main facilities are in Puerto Rico, we offer telemedicine services and can coordinate care with providers in other locations. We also assist with travel arrangements for in-person visits when necessary.
As a member, you’ll have expedited access to our care team which is comprised of local, regional and national specialists and subspecialist. For primary care, you can often get same-day or next-day appointments. For specialists, we can arrange for doctor-to-doctor specialist consultations on your behalf in less than 24 hours. For local and regional specialists, we will coordinate priority scheduling, significantly reducing typical wait times.
Yes, we provide 24/7 support for emergencies. Our team can offer immediate telehealth consultations and coordinate urgent care or hospital services as needed, leveraging our partnership with local hospital systems.
We offer comprehensive preventive services including annual physical exams, health risk assessments, immunizations, cancer screenings, and personalized wellness plans tailored to your specific health profile and goals.
PrivateMed practices whole person health which is multi-disciplinary and multi-modality including behavioral health. Patients prefer requesting or receiving behavioral health services in our clinical setting versus a dedicated psychiatric or psychological office or via telehealth as both provide a greater sense of privacy.

Your care package covers all services provided by PrivateMed as specified in description.Package Services provided by partner organizations such as Ashford Hospital are coordinated by PrivateMed and may be covered by your health insurance.There will be no surprises. We will discuss any services not included in your care package. ahead of scheduling those services on your behalf.
As a patient, your medical records are maintained in a secure nationally recognized electronic medical record, on demand.
Your secure patient portal provides access to our scheduling application, or you can call the office. Additionally, you can communicate directly and securely with your care manager or physician through this application.
The applications we use to store your medical information are nationally recognized and regulated by various Federal Agencies. Within PrivateMed, our privacy policies limit who has access to your information. Each time a patients information is touched, a record is made in the system for auditing purposes.
Yes, you can request a comprehensive statement of services through your account. This can be useful for your records or if you’re seeking reimbursement from a health savings account or insurance provider.
