Members in Essential care have access to basic tech resources that facilitate easier communication with healthcare providers. This includes access to a secure patient portal for managing appointments, viewing lab results, and direct messaging with your care team.
Essential care members enjoy a dedicated team of professionals who work to coordinate and manage your annual Healthy Journey Care Plan. Care Coordination includes making appointments for testing and or initial visits with specialist, receiving and reviewing test results, case conferences, etc.
Leveraging the Curated Health technology suite via apps on your phone or web-based solution, you can access a Curated Health provider from most anywhere, in the world. Curated Health provides or has arranged to provide physician coverage via telehealth in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and USVI. From prescribing medications or labs to coordinating care, Curated is on standby. Even if you are traveling internationally, we can consult with you and recommend care. Please note that additional fees may apply.
Curated Health will coordinate certain transportation such as Air Ambulance services included in the Essential Care Membership, if an emergency arises. If a member experiences an emergency, they should always dial 911 and/or proceed to the nearest emergency room.
Essential Care members are able to purchase additional office, telehealth, visiting family member visits, doctor to doctor consults, home diagnostic, telehealth technology and nationwide mainland telehealth services for an additional fee.
Curated will provide any documentation and service records needed for members to seek reimbursement from their health insurer. However, Curated itself does not bill third party insurance for its services.
Curated Health has assembled a network of interventional specialist to support the care of its members. If your Curated provider refers you to a Curated Network Specialist, one non-procedural specialist visit is included with your Essential Care membership. Thereafter, care recommended by the specialist may be covered by your health insurance or other arrangement between you and that provider.
For the benefit of its member’s, Curated Health has secured exclusive access to more than 3,300 specialists and subspecialists around the United States. Through this exclusive relationship, Curated Health can obtain expert case review and second opinions within twenty-four (24) hours of request. Occasionally, your provider may recommend consulting with a specialist to address a need that might arise. If you agree for your provider to consult with a specialist, additional fee’s may apply.
